Inside a giant walk-through anatomy exhibit

Built to order in commercial-grade material

Anatomy at the scale of a room.

We manufacture giant inflatable organs and body systems that people walk through rather than look at. Every exhibit is designed from scratch around what you need it to teach and where it needs to travel.

Applications

Where a walk-through exhibit earns its keep

Anatomy is difficult to picture and easy to forget. Standing inside a structure at human scale changes that, which is why the same exhibit works for a second-year physiology cohort and for a family at a weekend health event.

Higher education

Anatomy and physiology teaching for medical, nursing, allied health and science faculties. Built around the specific structures your unit covers, and reused every semester once it's yours.

  • Specified from your unit content, not a catalogue
  • Also earns its cost back on open days and campus tours
  • Moves between campuses in a van

Public health & prevention

Health services and prevention programs use these exhibits to explain how the body responds to smoking, alcohol, diet and chronic disease. They work at community events because people queue for them voluntarily, which is not true of a pamphlet.

  • Visual rather than text-led, so it crosses languages and reading levels
  • Suits tobacco, alcohol and other drug, nutrition and chronic disease programs
  • Travels to schools, community days and regional sites

Museums & science centres

A permanent or touring exhibit that visitors photograph and remember. Signage, interpretation panels and your branding are designed into the build rather than stuck on afterwards.

  • Suits touring exhibitions and school holiday programs
  • Interpretation and wayfinding integrated at design stage
  • Repairable and refurbishable rather than disposable

Schools & school systems

Health and biology curriculum delivery across a district. One exhibit shared between schools on a booking roster costs far less per student than a per-school resource.

  • Sized for a school hall or an oval
  • Set up by two staff, no specialist crew
  • Built to survive repeated handling

A recent build

Digestive system exhibit, University of Wollongong

The university came to us with a teaching problem rather than a product order. We took it through 3D design and revision, then manufactured the exhibit they signed off on.

What visitors do

Entry is through the mouth, past the teeth and tongue. From there the route runs the length of the tract, through the stomach chamber and out through the intestinal section. Every stage is at walking scale, so students move through the anatomy in the order the body processes food.

What the exhibit has to teach, who walks through it, where it lives, and what you have to spend.

02

Design

Modelled in 3D and revised with you until it is right. You sign off before manufacture starts.

03

Questions

The things people ask first

What can you make?

Any organ or system, tabletop or walk-through. Heart, lungs, digestive tract, brain, whole-body. If you can describe the teaching goal, we can design to it.

What will it cost?

Scale drives the price. A tabletop teaching model and a multi-stage walk-through exhibit sit far apart. Send the brief and you get a real number, not a range.

How long from order to delivery?

Design and revision usually takes a few weeks; manufacture and freight take several more. Tell us your date and we will say honestly whether it is achievable.

Can it go outdoors?

Yes. Blowers and anchoring are specified for the sites you will actually use, indoor, outdoor or both.

How is it stored and moved?

It deflates and packs into bags or cases and travels in a van or trailer. Two people can set it up.

Can you supply purchasing documentation?

Yes. Written quotations, specifications and supporting documentation for procurement, tender and grant-funded purchases.

Send us the teaching problem.

Tell us what it has to explain, who it is for and when you need it. You will get a design direction and a straight quote.
